Group Organisational Therapist – Norfolk

Salary: FTE £44,000 - £50,800 (Pro-rata) depending on experience

Location: Based in one of our communities in Honingham, Norfolk

Part-time posts (between one and three days a week)
You may be required to work up to 15 hours per week for each community.

We are Childhood First, a charity for severely traumatised children. We provide specialist 24/7 treatment and therapeutic education for children with complex psychological, emotional and behavioural needs. We have four residential children’s homes, with another home opening in 2021.

The main purpose of the Group/Organisational Therapist role is to facilitate a range of dynamic staff experiential groups to provide the reflective space and containment for the adults who are working with the children.

Through the use of our unique Integrated Systemic Therapy (iST), which focuses on healing trauma and enabling healthy attachments and relationships, young people achieve exceptional outcomes in every aspect of their lives.

Childhood First, have been an Organisational Member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) since April 2015 and we accredit (staff/students) who successfully complete our psychotherapeutic training as Child Psychotherapeutic Counsellors and when achieving the MA, Child Psychotherapist.

The post-holder will play a full part in clinical development and assessment of IiST trainees, and in the facilitation and clinical practice of IiST practitioners.
