Friends of Childhood First
We are enormously grateful to our Friends’ Committees in Kent and Norfolk who volunteer year-round to support the life changing work at our communities.
They do this by cultivating support from new and existing donors and organising local fundraising events to support special projects in the homes. Raising awareness locally and broadening our access to local sources of funding are particularly valued and appreciated.
Our Kent Friends’ committee support our residential communities in Kent. Greenfields House and School provides year-round specialist care, education and treatment for up to 10 children aged 5-13, Gables House for children aged 10-18 and Oakwood House for children aged 13-18.
Our Norfolk Friends’ committee support our residential communities in Norfolk. Earthsea House provides year-round specialist care, education and treatment for children aged 5 to 11 years old and Merrywood House who provide care for 10 to 18 year olds.
