Our Fundraising Agreement

At Childhood First, we are deeply grateful for every gift we receive. Your support enables us to provide life-changing therapeutic care for children and young people who have suffered severe trauma and neglect.

We are committed to fundraising in an open, honest, and responsible way. As a registered charity and proud member of the Fundraising Regulator, we follow the Code of Fundraising Practice and make the following promise to all our supporters:

We are honest and transparent

  • We will always be clear about who we are, what we do, and how your donation is used.
  • We will ensure that all fundraising materials are accurate, truthful, and respectful.
  • We will make it easy for you to find information about our work, our finances, and our fundraising activities.

We respect your privacy and your choices

  • We will keep your personal details safe and never sell or share your data with other organisations for their marketing purposes.
  • We will communicate with you according to your preferences and will promptly update or remove your details upon request.
  • You can change how we contact you at any time by getting in touch with our Supporter Care team.

We value every supporter

  • We will treat every donor, volunteer, and fundraiser with respect and gratitude.
  • We will recognise your contribution appropriately and ensure that you feel part of the difference your support makes.
  • We will listen and respond to your feedback and concerns.

We are accountable

If you are ever unhappy with our fundraising, we will take your complaint seriously, investigate it thoroughly, and aim to resolve it quickly and fairly.

We are registered with the Fundraising Regulator.

We carefully monitor all fundraising carried out on our behalf, including by volunteers, third parties, or partners.
