Saturday 5th December saw some Christmas magic sprinkle over the community with the children taking part in writing their long awaited letters to Santa!

They came together on the big comfy sofas with a special snow man shaped chocolate melt to put into their hot milk, turning it into a tasty hot chocolate!

Struggling to choose the perfect gift, the children took inspiration from some toy catalogs. Christmas songs were playing and festive paper and envelopes were used so Santa knew they were special letters.

Once the children had chosen what they wanted, they carefully placed them into Santa’s letter box that had been delivered to Greenfields earlier in the week. The letter box came with a little helper… a small, shiny elf! Once all of the letters had been collected the post box was put onto the doorstep, ready for Santa to collect that night!

Following a really tough year it was so lovely to see the children that felt they could join, relax into something that felt familiar, fun and just for them.

Christmas is always a difficult time of year for many of our children yet they still have the ability to bring Christmas cheer and magical excitement to uplift the whole community!
